Antoinette Sarpong is a Senior Learning Advisor in the Business Planning and Corporate Services Division at the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services.
She has worked in several ministries and agencies within the OPS, honing skills in strategic communications, client relations, change management, and human-centered research and program design. Antoinette also brings over 15 years of experience empowering people through experiential education and multimedia storytelling on four continents.
Antoinette holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University, postgraduate certificates in corporate communications and PR and instructional design from Centennial and Seneca College respectively, a Diploma in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University, and a Master of Public Policy, Administration and Law (MPPAL) from York University.
The MPPAL program provided me with a robust foundation in public policy analysis and administration. It also helped me hone my analytical skills and deepen my understanding of policy intricacies.
Moreover, engaging with diverse perspectives also enriched my worldview and fostered a nuanced approach to complex issues, which has afforded me the agility to take on a variety of roles and contribute meaningfully to the public sector.
