George has more than 20 years of experience in sales enablement, payments, and solution development, which he brings to his role as Vice President of Sales Excellence at Export Development Canada (EDC).
In his role, George leads several key areas core to EDC’s function including Sales Enablement, Change Management, Reporting & Analytics, and Product Innovation. Additionally, George founded and chairs EDC's Black Employee Resource Group (BERG) whose objective is to take a leadership role in promoting inclusion and equity by raising awareness, fostering professional development and enriching the experience of EDC's Black community.
Prior to joining EDC, George was the Head of Channel and Partner Relations and chair of the Diversity & Inclusion committee at Chase Merchant Services Canada (a business division of JPMorgan Chase). In his role, George lead the overall sales and distribution strategy for the business, while being responsible for strategic business development planning and strengthening strategic and technology partnerships to fuel Chase’s growth throughout Canada.
