The MPPAL's interdisciplinary and practical approach equipped me with skills crucial for navigating complex policy landscapes. Through rigorous (but fun!) coursework and experiences, I honed critical thinking, analytical, and communication abilities essential to my role as both a policy and political advisor. Moreover, the vibrant academic environment fostered invaluable networking opportunities and mentorship which continue to enrich my professional journey. Extra curricular opportunities like the CAPPA Case Competition and student association participation furthered the skills I was able to develop by adding to the list of practical opportunities that this program afforded me.
