Children, Childhood & Youth
The Children, Childhood, and Youth program allows students to engage and take an active role in community-based programs such as advocacy related work and schools. Having the knowledge and power to positively impact a child's life for the better is a rewarding feeling.
My education at York improved many of my skills such as creativity, organization, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work under pressure. York prepared me to stay on top of my work and to participate in planning and successfully delivering my ideas on redefining leadership through eye-opening discussions, inspiring speakers and team building activities. Also, I was presented with the opportunity to gain valuable leadership knowledge, to build my networking connections, as well as to grow intellectually.
