Enrolling in the MPPAL program was a pivotal decision for my public sector career. The skills and knowledge gained at York, especially in research methodologies, have been invaluable. My understanding of program evaluation has directly aided my current role, allowing me to make strategic recommendations. After completing my BA in Political Science at York in 2015, I transitioned from the private sector to a student position with the Township of King, aiming to enhance my skills for higher-level positions. The MPPAL program facilitated my move into public policy and administration roles, leading to my current leadership position.
