Monika is an experienced senior executive leader with an extensive career in financial and consumer services. She has lived and worked internationally and has developed deep expertise in strategy, digital transformation, marketing and branding, and sustainability leadership. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and Aviva Canada following her retirement from Intact Financial where she was the company’s Chief Strategy Officer.
She has been a passionate advocate for women throughout her career and has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Canada’s Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network.
She is an active volunteer serving on the Board of UNICEF Canada and the Dean’s Advisory board of the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
Monika earned a bachelor’s degree from York University and an MBA from the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University.
