Nadia Richards is the Manager of Anti-racism Integration at George Brown College. Nadia’s work at the college focuses on fostering anti-racist pedagogy and practices and creating a sense of belonging for all.

Nadia is a PhD candidate in the Department of Social Justice Education, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. Nadia’s doctoral work explores African Women’s Empowerment, with a case study in rural Rwanda.

Nadia’s most recent project is The Race Journals, which explores the lived experiences of Black women in Toronto, particularly with racism and the ways in which they have contested racism and have been resilient.
