In her current role Olga is responsible for external communications including financial and ESG reporting, global brand, digital platforms and reputation management for the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI), one of the largest pension funds in Canada with $211.1 billion of assets under management.
Previous to this, Olga was Director of Global Investing Communications, for OMERS. There she was responsible for leading integrated communications strategies for OMERS Capital Markets, Infrastructure, Private Equity and Growth Equity, and for advancing OMERS investing brand globally. Olga is an intuitive leader with extensive experience in brand marketing, digital communications, stakeholder relations, financial communications and on aligning internal and external communications to core business goals.
Before joining OMERS in 2019 Olga led external communications and issues management for one of Canada’s big five banks where she also directed marketing PR strategies that built brand equity, customer engagement and competitive advantage. She has been a trusted communications advisor to executive leadership teams in the Financial Services, Technology, Airline and Food and Beverage sectors.
She holds a Political Science and Communications degree from York University and also has a post graduate certificate in Corporate Communications from Centennial College.
