Health & Society
What I love about Health and Society is that it is an intersection of various disciplines, especially health sciences and social sciences. Analyzing from a critical perspective opened my eyes to an alternative way of thinking and viewing health and illness - considering not merely the biological but the historical, social, cultural, political and environmental forces that shapes the global and local health landscape. The lectures I attend and the courses I enrol in manage to widen my awareness and build my ability to read in between the lines to fully comprehend the society we live in.
