Tanya Rocca is Senior Counsel at Ontario Power Generation where she supports major procurements and contract negotiation. Having practiced law for over a decade, she enjoys sharing her lessons learned and acting as a mentor to junior lawyers and articling students on her team.

Prior to joining OPG, Tanya practiced as an associate in the Advocacy group at Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP where her practice included a variety of commercial litigation matters. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario.

Despite vowing never to take history again after grade 10, Tanya earned her Honours BA in History and Law & Society from York University and her JD from Queen's Law.

Tanya is the secretary of her sons' Parent Council and acts on the Board of Autism Ontario. In her spare time you can find Tanya working on puzzles, playing board games, binging Netflix shows, or building LEGO with her family.
