Tanya Waugh started her career working for municipal government while finishing her undergraduate degree in public administration at York University. Her degree and work experience allowed her to get a job in the Ontario Public Service in 2013, which was at the same time as her graduation.
Tanya started in administrative positions and continually challenged herself with a variety of different tasks, which led to her first promotion into an analyst role. The same approach has helped her gain experience in various positions, including relationship management, strategic planning, policy and working in senior advisor roles to senior management.
Currently, Tanya currently serves as the Senior Policy Advisor, Team Lead within the Ontario Ministry of Finance.
