Linguistics

Linguistics is a small program with less students compared to other programs at York . However, students and professors in the program are familiar with each other and we're like a family! Our class size is small and students will get together discussing assignments, cases or any questions about the courses. Professors pay more attention to you and they care about your learning progress. Linguistics has provided me with lots of opportunities to discover career paths and has helped me get ready for the future career. The Career Centre also assists me in writing cover letters and resumes. Moreover, friends from my college and program have expanded my vision of Canadian culture and society. I've learned a lot.
