Prof. Danny Hoffman, an anthropologist at the University of Washington will be presenting a paper at the Tubman Institute on 13 Oct. 2016 from 2:30-4:00. “Monrovia Modern: Urban Forms and the Political Imagination in West Africa” is a paper that bridges visual ethnography, African Studies, and urban studies in an exploration of the city of Monrovia in Liberia.
