Congratulations to Dr. Carlota McAllister on receiving a Harvard Fellowship!

Congratulations to the Department of Anthropology’s Dr. Carlota McAllister who has received a 2016-17 Charles Warren Fellowship at Harvard University!  Dr. McAllister will be participating in the year long workshop on “Imagining History, Doing Politics: The Uses and Disadvantages of the Past” at the Charles Warren Center for Studies in American History.

Passing of Professor Emeritus Gerry Gold

We were saddened to learn of Professor Gerry Gold’s passing on March 9, 2016.  Professor Gold was a member of the Department of Anthropology from 1976-2015.  For more on Professor Gold’s career and research,  click here.
