Mark Terry

Mark Terry is a documentary filmmaker and digital media artist specializing in geomedia technology and projects. His books, films, projects, and ongoing research are often adopted by the United Nations and used by policymakers at their annual climate summits. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, and The Explorers Club, Dr. Terry has been decorated by Queen Elizabeth with her Diamond Jubilee Medal for international humanitarian service. He has also won the seldom-presented Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. He is available to work with graduate students interested in these areas of film and social change.
