With a PhD in Social and Political Thought (York), my background is interdisciplinary. I teach communications courses which intersect with topical issues: racialization, technology, social movements, aesthetics, neoliberal impacts on culture and organizational change. I love these courses because students respond to some of the issues we raise in a really original and authentic way. And this happens because we make connections to our daily lives and activities. I like to teach students in a way that helps us theorize and articulate the forces that shape our work and our interactions.
