Position Title: Project Assistant
Working Site’s Location: Hybrid

Company Bio:

The Centre of Forensic Sciences (CFS) is part of the Ontario Government, and we are one of the most extensive forensic science facilities in North America. The CFS performs scientific testing to support official investigative agencies in Ontario e.g. police, coroners pathologists, etc. This includes DNA, Firearms, Documents, Toxicology and Chemistry testing. Within the CFS, our Organizational Development unit supports staff and client training through e-learning content development, training program evaluations, coordination and delivery of training to outward facing clients, and production of instructional videos.

Job Description:

Assist the CFS Organization Development Unit with:
• Drafting project plans, story boards, scripts etc., in consultation with forensic scientists
• Preparing for and conducting filming onsite at our Downsview facility
• Assisting with video post-production work (currently using Davinci Resolve)
• Assist with internal and external stakeholder engagement online
• Analyze and improve e-learning content and platform design

Qualifications:

Technical skills:
• Proficient in Davinci Resolve video editing software (required)
• Familiar with various multimedia content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office Suite
• Understanding and experience in video production, including storyboarding, filming, and post-production work
