Mollika Bashar

MA 2015, Economics
Mollika is currently working for the Government of Canada at the department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. She obtained her Masters degree in Economics in 2015 from York University, and completed her bachelor degree in Economics from University of Waterloo.
Since she was an undergrad student and studying Economics, Mollika was always interested in working for the federal government to further the public good and be part of the central decision making for our country’s economy. She was grateful to realize she was not wrong, working in the public service has real meaning and impact on the lives of Canadians. She has worked on International trade related files to support Canadian businesses, and in the recent times, has worked on the call to action for Industry Mobilization to respond to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
