Program Options
This program has both part-time and full-time options.
It is feasible to complete the certificate in one calendar year, however, this is not possible to guarantee as there are limited seats in the Practicum course, so applicants are advised to be prepared for a duration of 2 years, just in case. Students may also take their time and complete over many years.
The class time required to complete 27 credits totals 324 hours. The coursework consists of both online and offline assignments. In addition, the Practicum course has a placement component which includes 30 hours of observation and 20 hours of supervision teaching in intact classrooms taking place outside of the 324 hours of instruction in the program.
