Women Poets of the Italian Renaissance
In this course emphasis is placed on the self-awareness of 16th-century women writers in a predominately male world, and their intellectual and social self-understanding in relation to the Renaissance concept of the individual.
Pre-requisites: None. Course credit exclusions: None. Language of Instruction: English. Students enrolled in a Major or Minor in Italian Studies may be required to complete coursework in Italian language.
