Boccaccio

The study of Boccaccio’s Decameron, and selections from some of the minor works; their link with the new bourgeois culture and their importance in the context of humanistic literature. Students enrolled in a Major or Minor in Italian Studies are required to complete coursework in Italian language. Prerequisites: AP/IT 2200 6.00, AP/IT 2200 3.00, or permission of the Instructor.
