Modern and contemporary Italian poetry from well-established figures of the turn of the century to emerging younger poets. Great works by D'Annunzio, Ungaretti, Montale and Quasimodo, Pasolini, Sanguineti, Zanzotto, Rosselli, Niccolai and others.
Prerequisite: AP/IT 2200 3.0 or AP/IT 2200 6.00. Course credit exclusion: AP/IT 4620 6.00.
