Phonology 1: Analysis

CROSSLISTED COURSES: GL EN 3601 & GL LIN 3601

This course provides students with the opportunity to develop the analytical skills necessary for more advanced phonological work. Emphasis throughout is on practical analysis and argumentation, drawing on data from a wide variety of languages.

COURSE CREDIT EXCLUSIONS: GL/EN/LIN 3601 3.0

FORMAT: Two 90-minute sessions weekly.

PREREQUISITE: AP/LING 1000 6.0 (or AP/LING 2800 3.0 for CogSci students) and AP/LING 2110 3.0 with a grade of C or better, or permission of the Department.
