Aspects of Spanish Linguistics
This course presents linguistic concepts, terminology and analyses, focusing on the Spanish language. It offers a foundation in the systems of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics as well as linguistics fields such as historical linguistics, sociolinguistics, and Spanish teaching and learning. Prerequisite:
AP/SP 2000 6.00, AP/SP 2010 6.00, or equivalent. PRIOR TO FALL 2016: Course credit exclusions: AP/SP 2100 3.00.
