Child and Adolescent Migrant Memoirs

This course takes a psychoanalytic, semiotic and philosophical approach to the interpretation of migrant memoirs. It provides a theoretical foundation for the interpretation of writer translingual condition. It examines the fluidity of identity formations, and the restorative properties of triangulating experiences through the recollection and reconstruction of written truths. Spanish Majors’ formal and informal submissions are written in Spanish.
