This is a regular class offered to our first-year students as part of our introductory microeconomics course. It involves interactive iClicker questions that only registered students can respond to.

When we travel abroad, we naturally exchange one currency for another. Our travel patterns shape the demand and supply for currencies and thus the exchange rates. Other – more important factors that affect the exchange rate – include imports and exports of goods, as well as currency speculation. In this class, you can see how economists think about currencies and exchange rates. This is a regular class offered to our first-year students as part of their introductory macroeconomics course. It involves interactive iClicker questions that only registered students can respond to. Welcome to your first economics class at York!
