Katherine (Kato) Perdue

Kato holds a PhD in History, Sexuality and Gender Studies from York University, where she did her undergraduate work. She has taught History of Women in Canada, Queer Cultures, and Writing Women’s History. Currently she has been co-teaching Critical Foundations in Sexualities Studies along with Dr. Latchford. Kato brings an historical context to present day issues in studies in sexualities these issues are reflected in her own interests in subjectivity and mental health. She is in private practice as a Registered Psychotherapist. Kato is a lifelong learner, in the final stages of becoming a clinical Psychoanalyst.
