Sex Work/Sexual Labour
This course analyzes the organization and experiences of sexual labour. Sex work (such as exotic dance, escorting and street sex work), sex tourism, transactional sex and other sexual-economic-affective arrangements are studied in the context of heteropatriarchal, racial, and global relations of power. The course also pays attention to struggles against social and economic injustice by women, migrant and sex workers.
