Department of History congratulates the organizers and participants of this year’s Graduate History Conference, New Frontiers. The sessions were exciting, combining interesting papers with lively question-and-answer periods.
One of the many highlights of the event was Friday night’s keynote address by Professor Ian McKay of Queen’s University. A leading cultural historian, Professor McKay delivered an intriguing paper that was extremely well received. It was a memorable evening. But
Professor McKay was equally impressed, as he mentioned by our “remarkable students” and his interactions with them.
So, Kudos to the GPH! And thank you for doing so much to create and sustain History at York.
