Sean Kheraj is one of the three nominees for the 2014 Basil Stuart-Stubbs Prize for Outstanding Scholarly Book on British Columbia for his book Inventing Stanley Park: An Environmental History. This prize is awarded for the best scholarly book published on a British Columbia subject by a Canadian author.
Inventing Stanley Park: An Environmental History is also listed as a finalist for the Roderick Haig-Brown Regional Prize for the 2014 BC Book Prizes.This prize celebrate the achievements of British Columbia writers and publishers. (Please see article from CBCnews)
