Congratulations to the Undergraduate History Students Association and the Classical Studies Students Association for an excellent conference that took place on March 1, 2014 at Vanier College. Twelve papers were presented by History and Classics students, and there was a sizeable audience who eagerly asked questions and discussed the papers. The quality of the papers was outstanding and everyone seemed to truly enjoy their day. Thanks to all the fine presentations and to those who participated as audience members.
I want to thank Monica from Classical Studies and Ruba from History. They were great organizers. Ruba Sha’ath, the current UHSA president, will graduate this year and I wanted to thank her for three years of being active in the UHSA. She has done so much to further this important association within our department.
