The History Department’s Professor David S. Koffman co-edited and contributed to new book bringing two Jewish diaspora communities into dialogue together

David S. Koffman, the J. Richard Shiff Chair for the Study of Canadian Jewry and Associate Professor in the Department of History, co-edited and contributed to a new publication, Promised Lands North and South: Jewish Canada and Jewish Argentina in Conversation, which spotlights a conversation between two of the most significant Jewish Diaspora communities outside of the U.S.  Contributors compare and juxtapose the unique aspects of two Jewish histories, politics and cultures.
