York history PhD graduate, Dimitry Anastakis, one of the finalists for this year’s Canada Prize in the Humanities

Autonomous State: The Struggle for a Canadian Car Industry from OPEC to Free Trade by Dimitry Anastakis is in this year’s shortlist for the Canada prize in humanities, announced by the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences. These prizes are awarded to the best scholarly books in the humanities and social sciences that received funding through the Awards to Scholarly Publishing Program.

York will be hosting the Awards Ceremony for the Canada Prizes at Glendon College on May 7. Details
