Department of History congratulates Dr. Sharon Wall, former doctoral student in the GHP, for her THIRD award for her book The Nurture of Nature: Childhood, Anti-modernism, and Ontario Summer Camps, 1920-55
(UBC Press). This third award — the English-language book prize of the Canadian History of Education Association — joins the Floyd S. Chalmers Award in Ontario History for 2009 and the Canadian Historical
Association’s 2010 Clio Prize for Ontario History. Dr. Wall currently teaches in the History Department at the University of Winnipeg.
