Adrian Shubert has presented the Department with a copy of his latest book: a textbook, jointly written with Robert Justin Goldstein (Professor emeritus, Oakland University, Michigan and currently research associate at the Centre for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor), entitled Twentieth Century Europe, and published recently by Bridgepoint Education Inc., San Diego (pp. xix + 343). It is handsomely illustrated with maps, charts and photos, and I’m sure will become a much used volume. Please drop by the Chair’s office and take a look.
