The Department of History is saddened by the passing of Irving Abella

The Department of History is saddened by the passing of our longtime friend and colleague, Irving Abella. He will be greatly missed by us, The Centre for Jewish studies at York, and throughout Canada’s Jewish community. Our condolences to his family and to everyone who knew him.
