ROM Symposium “Caesar´s Palace: Inside the Court of Imperial Rome” – 1 March 2020

Caesar´s Palace: Inside the Court of Imperial Rome – Royal Ontario Museum, Eaton Theatre, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On Sunday 1 March, some York Classical Studies colleagues will feature amongst the speakers in a one-day symposium entitled ‘Caesar´s Palace: Inside the Court of Early Imperial Rome’. The event is part of the ROM Connects series, and is linked to the SSHRC Insight Grant project directed by Professor Ben Kelly (Classical Studies, Department of History)  in which all the speakers are participants. The talks will present the key findings from the project, and will be designed for people who are not professional Roman historians.

We would be delighted if you could join us! The symposium will take place on Sunday 1 March in the Eaton Theatre at the Royal Ontario Museum from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.  For fuller details, see the attached flyer.

The event is open to the general public. There is no entry fee, but the Museum asks you to RSVP via its website so that it can keep track of numbers: https//www.rom.on.ca/en/whats-on/caesars-palace-inside-the-court-of-imperial-rome.
