Sport, Physical Activity and Youth Development
Explores developmental theories and psychosocial research that facilitate understanding of positive youth development through sport and physical activity. Students will be introduced to theoretical and empirical research from developmental psychology and sport psychology fields. Specific discussions and applications will focus on conditions that facilitate youths’ healthy involvement in sport and physical activity. Prerequisite: KINE 3000
