Deborah Clipperton
Deborah has been teaching in the Humanities Department for many years. She has particular interests in the relationship between culture and identity, art and politics, literature and philosophy and studied to the level of her PhD (ABD) in Women’s Studies at York. She is proud to have received the President’s University-Wide Teaching Award, the Faculty of Arts Dean’s Award for Outstanding Teaching (Honourable Mention), and the Humanities Excellence in Teaching Award. She lives in Toronto with her husband Peter and her two teen-aged daughters.
