Project Description:
This project is a rigorous meta-analysis that follows the MAER-Net guidelines.with a focus on empirical studies investigating the relationship between retirement and (subjective) life satisfaction. This meta-analysis is to review the literature systematically by combining and analyzing data from multiple independent studies, identifying patterns, taking into account the uncertainty behind each point estimate of the relationship of interest, and removing publication biases that result from the tendency of editors to prefer research leading to findings that support the conventional view or are statistically significant.The Dean’s Award for Research Excellence (DARE) – Undergraduate enables our students to meaningfully engage in research projects supervised by LA&PS faculty members.
