Dr. Nirupama Agrawal, a founding member of York’s Disaster and Emergency Management program and co-director of the Canadian Defence and Security Network (CDSN-MINDS), has completed a series of workshops and research bringing together international experts on disaster response. Her research aims to help create a new disaster response system and improve disaster preparedness in Canada, particularly in areas with poor infrastructure.
