Disaster & Emergency Management professors mark five-year anniversary of COVID-19 pandemic with an immersive photography exhibit

Professor Aaida Mamuji with support from Jack Rozdilsky and Ali Asgary, all from the Disaster & Emergency Management program, developed a new photography exhibit and event entitled, “From Distanced to Connected: COVID-19 Five-Years On,” which documents the height of the pandemic in 2020-21. People in the GTA were asked to submit photos capturing their experiences of the pandemic. Photos include everything from COVID tests, vaccines, masks and online learning. Audiences have the opportunity to reflect on the time that has passed since the pandemic and their shared experiences and struggles.
