
Eleven York University students recently received the Robert J. Tiffin Student Leadership Award. The award recognizes students whose leadership has contributed to the growth, development and vitality of York University. Winners are nominated by members of the university community.
Narmada Murugarajan, who is completing her Bachelor of Human Resource Management, was one of the students to receive an award. Murugarajan has demonstrated an impressive level of commitment to leadership during her time at York. She has held several leadership roles including orientation captain, vice-president of events for the Human Resources Students Association and student senator and president’s ambassador at York.
