Philosophy Department welcomes new faculty member Professor Regina Rini

 

The Philosophy Department is delighted to welcome a new full-time faculty member, Professor Regina Rini, who has been appointed to the Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Philosophy of Moral and Social Cognition. Prof. Rini completed her PhD at New York University, was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, and an Assistant Professor and Faculty Fellow at the NYU Center for Bioethics. She works at the intersection of Moral Philosophy and the Philosophy of Cognitive Science, and she also has research interests in Bioethics. She has numerous publications in these areas in refereed academic journals and she also writes popular pieces on philosophical topics for a wider audience.
