The Department of Philosophy is organizing a workshop on the occasion of G. E. M. Anscombe’s centenary, which will celebrate her lasting impact on philosophy by discussing ideas and arguments inspired by her work. The workshop is being organized by Robert Myers and Devlin Russell, and will take place on May 10-11 at York. Speakers will discuss self-consciousness, language, action, mind, ethics, and metaethics.
