Jordy Cummings is a political theorist, a cultural critic, and an educator. He is a member of the Red Wedge editorial collective and the Leftovers collective. He is a specialist in Marxism and other forms of critical theory and praxeology. His writing has appeared in Spectre, Historical Materialism, New Politics, Le Monde Diplomatique and other outlets. Having a PhD (2017) from the Department of Politics, Jordy is proud to maintain a connection to the broad York Politics community, an unbroken chain of critical and transformative theory and practice.
