The Politics of Work and Industry

An analysis of the ability of capitalist economic and political institutions to restructure and project themselves anew, including more flexible forms of production and new political alliances. The historical forces which have shaped the politics of work and industry are examined, as well as the contemporary restructuring of work, the new industrial policy debate, and the altering spatial patterns of production and trade.
