Jing Wang

Jing Wang earned a Ph.D. in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto. Her research interests include diversity management, strategic human resources management, work-life balance, and underemployment. She has also written about labor issues such as minimum wages and labor arbitration in China. Her work has received the Academy of Management Best Student Paper Award, and the Labor and Employment Relations Association Best Paper Award. Her study on minimum wages won the Outstanding Paper Award at the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2013. Her research has been published in the field’s top journals such as Human Resource Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, and British Journal of Industrial Relations. She was a faculty member of the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University and has also worked as a human resource professional for several multinational companies in China.
