Anise McKay (she/her) is the Provincial Coordinator for the Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project (NSRAP), an organization that seeks equity, justice, and human rights across Nova Scotia. Anise is pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Victoria and holds a Social Services Diploma. She believes that decolonial and anti-oppressive social transformation requires the centering of people with lived intersecting experiences of systemic marginalization. Anise feels wholeheartedly that the journey towards social justice for 2SLGBTQIA+ people requires collective care and is excited that this project will both embody and lead to more collaboration and community-based strategies.
