David DeVries
David believes in passing on information through readings and lectures and then reinforcing learning through interactive discussions and group work. He supports experiential learning by providing scenarios based on real life emergencies or planned contingencies in which there are multiple approaches to solve a problem. David has over 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces with a focus on providing logistical support in both international and domestic operations. Domestic operations included both planned events, e.g. G8 conferences and emergency response events. After the Armed Forces, he worked with Hydro One and with the PanAm and Invictus Games in operational leadership roles. Currently, Paul is the Executive Vice president of the Aurum Group of Companies. He is involved in developing solutions to address PPE and sanitizing product shortages during the COVID pandemic.
